PREMIUM INTERNATIONAL JOB WEBSITE FOR GRADUATES

With so much happening out there, you have to expand ypur strategy to getting information that can improve the quality of jobs that you get to know about. However, the information has to be authentic.

Now while some job related sites have free options, some of these platforms have been infiltrated by scammers. Nonetheless, you must find a way to get reliable information and find how to reach out to these companies.

Some of these sites have genuine jobs but what happens is that the scammers find a way to contact job seekers and then send them an email. They then ask for upfront payments for jobs and job interviews.

No true organization will do this. So please do your due diligence when subscribing to these job sites especially when you are contacted. Check through and through.

Nevertheless, with the changing job and employment environment, it is good to also look inwards and find ways to monetize your skills and abilities. There are platforms that can help you achieve this. Hope to publish more on this later.

Here is a piece below that I think will be helpful to job seekers. At the end of the article, the link to the job site is posted for you to access.

The good thing about this site is that it lists companies all over the work that not only provide jobs but also visa to move over from your country of residence, if that is required.

I would advise to read the short piece below and then check the jobs and visa site.

All the best.

7 REASONS WHY DEGREE HOLDERS ARE POOR
Writen by MALAM MAMUDA KABIR DUTSINMA.

BASICALLY, there seven reasons why degree holders are poor.

1. THEY DON’T THINK BEYOND THEIR CERTIFICATES

Albert Einstein said, “Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.” Have you ever heard  creativity term “Think outside the box”? One of the major reasons why most graduates are poor is simply because they can’t see and think beyond their certificates.

I have seen engineering students work as bankers. I have seen medical doctors with great skills in web and graphic designs. I have seen lawyers that are very dexterous with finances. The list is endless!

The basic truth of life is that the skills that are needed to be much sought after and become more successful in life are not really found within the walls of the classrooms. Your certificate is just a proof that you are teachable, it does not suggest what you are totally capable of doing. You are full of possibilities when you think beyond your degrees and certificates.

2. THEY PRIORITIZE THEIR CERTIFICATES MORE THAN THEIR GIFTS AND TALENTS

I have often advised some of my colleagues, never to leave their gifts dormant while pursuing and hunting for jobs with their certificates. There must be a complementary balance in the pursuit of your passion and in the search for jobs.

Everybody is gifted for something, but the winning edge comes from our ability to work on our gifts and bless the world with it. The very best way to develop yourself is in the direction of your natural talents and interest. In order to live a fulfilled and impactful life, we need to work harder on our gift than our job. We need to discover our gift, develop it, and sell it. Don’t bury your TALENT with your certificates.

3. THEIR CERTIFICATES PREPARE THEM FOR A WORLD THAT NO LONGER EXIST

It has been found that most of the skills taught in schools are becoming obsolete in the present world. The world has changed a lot, and so are people’s need! It is imperative to know that the present form of university education does not prepare students for the future.
Graduates are becoming endangered species in the face of a changing world. Our archaic methods and approaches of learning are preparing graduates for a world that no longer exist, as we are churning out degree holders every year with certificates that have face value but no intrinsic worth. Most learning institutions are filled up with lecturers and pseudo-educators with lecture notes, methods and approaches that have lost relevance in a changing world.

4. THEY KNOW LESS ABOUT THEMSELVES BUT MORE ABOUT THINGS

Certificates and degrees don’t reveal people to themselves; they at most measure our IQ (Intelligent Quotient). I have often tell people that there is no Recovery without Discovery. A poor man is simply someone that has not discovered himself.

The more you discover yourself, the more you realize the treasures that are hidden deep within you. We carry inside ourselves latent treasures that can only be unveiled through self-discovery.

5. CERTIFICATES AND DEGREES CAN KILL INITIATIVES

Degrees and certificates can close up your minds to ideas while initiatives open it up. If you are not careful, your degrees and certificates can close up your mind. The purpose of education is to keep your mind perpetually opened towards limitless possibilities!

Fred Smith saw an opportunity for overnight delivery of anything anywhere in the USA, and ultra- fast delivery anywhere in the world, FedEx was born. It will be interesting to know that Fred Smith got a grade “C” in a Yale economics class for an idea that the professor belittled as unworkable.

Fred Smith’s company became the first American business to make over ten billion dollars in annual profit. Beginning with just 186 packages delivered the first night, FedEx now delivers in over two hundred countries using over 6,030 aircraft, 46,000 vehicles and 141,000 employees.

6. DEGREES AND CERTIFICATES POSITION YOU TO LOOK FOR JOBS AND NOT FOR OPPORTUNITIES

Our certificates and degrees prepare graduates to look for jobs and not open our eyes to life-changing opportunities. You are not poor because you don’t have a job; you are poor because you are not seeing and seizing opportunities.

Being POOR is simply Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly! What keeps people ahead in life is not their education or degrees, it is simply the opportunity that they seized. Jobs may be scarce but not opportunities.

As long as there is a problem to be solved, there will always be opportunities. It is a waste of our education, exposure, and experiences if after we graduate from school, all we think about is searching for a job. An enlightened and educated mind should be able to see and seize opportunities.

7. CERTIFICATES AND DEGREES PREPARE PEOPLE TO LOOK FOR SECURITY AND NOT TO TAKE RISKS

We must be willing to make mistakes and take breakthrough risks. Taking risks and learning from mistakes help us in knowing what works and what does not! When Thomas Edison was being questioned by a mischievous journalist on how he felt for having failed for 999 times before getting the idea of the light bulb, his response stunned the whole world when he confidently said, “I have not failed 999 times, I have only learned 999 ways of how not to make a light bulb”.

Many graduates and degree holders are becoming progressively poor because the skills required in the modern world to get rich are not taught in schools and institutions.

By 2025, we’ll lose over five million jobs to automation. This means that future jobs will look vastly different by the time many people graduate from the university.

Future jobs will involve KNOWLEDGE PRODUCTION/CREATION and innovation, and people that are only equipped with skills found in the classroom will definitely be a misfit in an ever-changing world. Skills like critical thinking, creativity, people’s skill, STEM skills (e.g Coding), complex problem-solving skills etc. are central to living a more comprehensive and productive life.

THEREFORE, in conclusion, My humble and candid advice to graduates and students in institutions is to think wide, deep and outside the box. Take volunteer jobs, and don’t be afraid to navigate fields that are different from your field of learning.

Your future career will require you to pull information from many different fields to come up with creative solutions to future problems.

Start by reading as much as you can about anything and everything that interests you. Once you get to college, consider double majoring or minoring in completely different fields. Trust me, it’ll pay off in the long run.

Don’t limit yourself to the classroom. Do something practical. Take a leadership position. Start a business and fail; that’s a better entrepreneurship. Contest an election and lose. It will teach you something political science will not teach you. Attend a seminar. Read books outside the scope of your course.

Think less of becoming an excellent student, but think more of becoming an excellent person. Don’t make the classroom your world, but make the world your classroom. Step forward and try something extra.

Invest in something you believe! Real financial security and freedom is not in your job, but in your passion, gifts, talents, and your ability to see and seize opportunities.

THE DYNAMICS OF S*XUAL SEDUCTION

What is it about s*x and s*xual seduction that men do not already know about that still needs to be said? Well, the truth is that if men really know the depth about this topic, the amount of psychological damage that results from it would not be as high as we have today.

Could casualties be reduced if we are better informed of all that is involved?

From the first impulse of thought or by the initiation of the autonomic mechanism involved in the whole process, what understanding can help us master ourselves?

Infact, it seems like figures related to damaged relationships is not a good thing to talk about now. The truth is that a good percentage of this is related to the topic of discuss.

There are so many things happening at the biological level ( and there are many other levels to this, trust me) that would astound you. However, beyond just astounding you, the information you will learn from this topic, will help you at taking control of situations in relation it.

If you have ever been involved or affected by this in the past or even currently as you read this, this revelatory knowledge will help you take a retrospective look at past events and capture learning points to make you a better person.

Who likes getting hurt psychologically or who likes hurting others intentionally? I don't think most people really set out to hurt others intentionally. Although there are a few who do but they are in the few.

CLEAN UP YOUR MIND - Your Greatest Physical Asset

There is no gain saying the fact that your mind is your greatest physical asset. Whoever thinks otherwise should prove it.

Why am I confident to declare this? You see, with over 10 years of experience spending hundreds of hours consulting
and attending to mental health patients, I know without a shadow of doubt, the powerful role a clear mind plays in helping people maximize their life and opportunities.

In fact, I think the human mind is man's greatest physical asset. If you lose your job or business, you can get it back. If you lose your marriage, you can get it back (well, maybe not with your estranged
spouse or partner).

However, the point I am trying to make is that, there is nothing outside of you that you cannot get back if you lose it, IF your mind is intact. If you lose your mind, you have lost everything.

If you know about my life story, you will know that my pathway through
the University and Med School was incredibly unusual. Why do I say that?

I was one of the top 3 students in Biochemistry as I was going to 300
Level before I transferred to Medicine. Gosh, I really loved Biochemistry. A fascinating subject. The lecturers were amazing. Notwithstanding, I was not fulfilled.

I knew deep down that I wanted to be a medical doctor treating people. It was a deep down desire in my consciousness.

After transferring from Biochemistry to Medical College in the same University, I had to start from 200 Level Medicine (losing one year by doing so). Well, I didn't mind. What is one year of loss compared to a lifetime of regret? So i hopped on the med school bandwagon.

Well I wish the story ended happily ever after. It didn't. I went from year 2 to year 3 and then spent about 6 years between year 3 & 4 in Med school! Time that should have been enough for me to graduate from
Med School alone, right?

So what happened? The space here would not be enough to cram the 6 years of psychological torture. In fact, the story is deeper than this. However, let me give you a brief stint of why the time lag at that point.

In my country, there is a body called ASUU (ASUU means Academic Staff
Union of Universities). It is a union of university academic staff. Actually, it is an offshoot of the Nigerian Association of University Teachers (NAUT).

ASUU Strikes were somewhat frequent then. Coincidentally, even as at the time of writing this article, they are currently on strike! Don't get me wrong. Lecturers in my country are one of the best in the
world. Very intelligent and sound.

A lot of them go out of their way to improvise to teach their students. However, in an oil rich country like mine blessed with oil and other additional abundant mineral resources and a fantastic weather, that shouldn't be the case, isn't it?

So they sometimes have to take strike measures to be able to get the government to answer to their requests. Sad right? Anyway, back to my story.

So the delay in my academic journey wasn't just due to ASUU strikes alone. Also contributory was the university's departmental accreditation for running a medical program (which they eventually
got) and even after that, exams and other sundry issues.

So you see, there was a lot in between. [SIGH]. Well, end of story, I graduated finally!

That being said, from what I have said so far, I think I know a thing or two about staying sane while going through insane circumstances.

In my Ebook, titled REFORMAT YOUR HEAD - How To Clear Your Mind For
Better Mental Focus & Sleep, I reveal practical steps I use to help clear my mind so I have mental clarity with improved sleep to pursue my goals and dreams.

So Before You Blame Witches & Wizards for haunting you, you need to truly ask yourself what your deepest beliefs are.

Why?

Because your deepest beliefs are actually a self-fulfilling prophecy. However, you may face a lot of circumstances that have the potential for boggling down your mind. Trust me, when you lose mental clarity,
you will make stupid choices, some of which could be irreversible.

So in essence, until you identify and clear these mental conflicts from your head, you will always feel powerless and confused, making one wrong choice to the other. It can be really devastating.

In Reformat Your Head, I share practical steps on how to clear your mind so you don't get overwhelmed by thoughts.

In a single read, you can grab my secrets for keeping a sane mind while going through insane circumstances.

This is a short read eBook borne out of personal experience and practical approach and backed by scientific principles.

Hope this helps.

WHAT I LEARNT THAT NIGERIANS CAN APPLY INTERNATIONALLY

Did you know that Indians are the highest immigrants of all nationalities in the whole of UAE, Kuwait & Saudi Arabia?

In all of these countries I just mentioned, a good percentage of them are highly placed and doing well in different sectors.

So the question is, how are they able to achieve this? What is the magic wand they are using?
I have been privileged to have a network of very good and amazing Indian friends and I can tell you things that enable them to be super successful in other countries.

Conning down to the medical sector, there are things they are doing that many of us in Africa are not doing and hence, the poor outcome of results Inspite of our intelligence.

We can be better and do better in our Nation and in other Nations (yes a number of Nigerians are really doing well, but the percentage can be significantly higher). However, do we know what it takes apart from Intelligence?

I was invited as the first black man to speak to the largest community of Indians in the UAE and it was simply a phenomenal experience. Great people and amazing community spirit they have.

Have a great day

THE POWER OF TIME

It doesn't matter how long it takes to get it done , what maters the most is "it was done ".

It doesn't matter who gets the first view at the top of the mountain what matters the most is "you got your view " i

It doesn't matter who gets married first what matters is you got married eventually .

It doesn't matter who got a child first sometimes the reason your child is delaying is because kings and queens don't just show up they come prepared .

The best things in life come in a complete package and it goes through a process which is Time. Time doesn't happen in a hurry . Waite for it and you shall see .

I pray that God gives us the ability to Wait for Him to make it happen in Jesus name . God has a plan ! [Source Pastor Austin Edeki, Author, & Life Coach, Canada]

LATEST KIDNAPPING TACTICS

Do you a new tactics that kidnappers have deviced? Read this story and be wise.

This is a true story, pls read to the end.

My colleagues husband is in police custody as we speak.

What was his crime?

He is being accused of conniving with KIDNAPPERS or of being a KIDNAPPER.

Unfortunately he is innocent.

How then did he get involved?

My colleagues husband (Let's call him Mr. X) was in his car sales shop in Owerri over the weekend when a man walked in and claimed he was there to buy a car (Let's call him the customer).

Mr. X looked at The customer and noticed the following
1)  His pockets were bulging with cash
2) He was uneasy.

Mr X was immediately suspicious.
The man claimed he wanted 2 buy a Toyota Siena which Mr X told him cost 1.8M naira. The customer  did not argue or bargain. He simply said Ok and asked Mr. X to give him his account number so he could transfer the money to him.
Mr. X did as he asked tho he wondered how a man could purchase a car without even inspecting it or even trying to beat down the price.

The customer transferred the account number to another person by text, as he explained to Mr.X that it was that person who would do the transfer.

Few minutes after, Mr.X received an alert for 500000NGN. He asked his customer why he transferred 500k when that wasn't what they agreed on.

The customer made a call and began shouting at the person at the other end, asking him why he transferred an amount less than the agreed amount.

After he ended the call, he told Mr.X not to worry again. He wouldn't buy the car again, he said. He pleaded with Mr. X to go and use an atm, withdraw the cash and give it to him.

Mr X was uncomfortable and said no. The customer insisted and even offered that Mr. X could take 30,000 ngn from the money for his trouble and withdraw 470,000NGN for him.

Mr.X refused, insisting that he would return the money to the original sender. The customer left.
The next day Mr. X proceeded to the bank where he filled a teller over the counter and paid the money back to the account number that made the transfer. In the remarks section he wrote - suspicious transaction.

He went home.

The following day he headed for the bank again to withdraw some money and observed that he couldn't use his atm card - it had been blocked. He went to other atm machines and observed same.

So he proceeded to his own bank to make a report and he was instantly detained and subsequently taken into police custody.Apparently his account had been placed on red alert by 1st bank - his bank.

It was at the police station he was told that he was a kidnap suspect. The 500000NGN he received in his account was paid in by a member of the family of a kidnap victim.

The victim was kidnapped in Enugu. The KIDNAPPERS also raped another member of the family before making away with the victim.

Aware that they were being investigated, they deviced a means of collecting the ransom monies.  Apparently, the customer's bulging pockets were from people whom he had successfully convinced to unwittingly assist him in collecting his ransom.

He hoped Mr.X would withdraw the money and give to him so he could collect the ransom without exposing himself. So they planned to implicate innocent people by cooking up the ruse of buying something from them, then pretending that there was an issue and asking for the money to be withdrawn and given to them, cash.

Right now Mr.X husband is still in police custody. He has been transferred to Enugu where the kidnapping was carried out . His saving grace was that he transferred the money right back to the source and indicated on the teller that it was a suspicious transaction.

People, we must be vigilant.
We must be observant.
We must ask questions.

This is a true story, happening now.

Please share and you might save some one from a lot of trouble and even a possible conviction for a crime they did not commit.

WHAT EVERY MAN SHOULD LEARN ABOUT LIFE

A lot of times, people do not know the twists and turns that could turn up in life and how to handle them. A wrong response from you can put you at a long term disadvantage but handling them well can make your life flow smoothly. Please read this true life story below and learn from it.
....

In 2010 I was a senior manager in a nice firm, my future was bright in the company and I was highly recommended for head of my department. There was a rising star as well, his name is Jacob. I tutored him and tried to manage his excesses because he was exceptionally brilliant. But, he was lazy and carefree. Hardly would he take corrections and rarely would he apologise.

My other colleagues wondered what I saw in him, but they weren’t working directly with him. I knew his type: he hated structure and would never last under a corporate environment. Still, he was a brilliant strategist. I handled him well and our results together with others on my team was highly commendable.

There came a time I was having marital issues and for this reason, I had little patience with Jacob and his shenanigans. I was short-tempered with him but he had gotten used to me managing his excesses, he didn’t take my anger seriously. In two weeks, I had given him 3 queries. This meant dismissal and when I was asked by HR if I truly wanted to let him go, I could not care less. I had my own problems and was not in the mood to babysit anyone.

Three years later, I lost my job because the company was downsizing and top management was affected. I foolishly assumed I would get a job anywhere so initially, I wasn’t worried. But 12 months in, I was still searching and my savings was dwindling fast. I decided, since I wasn’t getting any job, I’d drive my SUV as a cab to those commuting from the airport. This was better than waiting around for nothing…

The cab job surprisingly was not doing badly as I was picking up and dropping off esteemed clients. It wasn’t a lot of money but it was steady.

In July 2016, an esteemed client asked me to pick up his friend from the airport because his driver had flaked on him. This person I was to pick up would turn out to be Jacob. When he called to confirm his location, I instantly recognised his voice. My heart plunged but I wasn’t going to reject the job and disappoint a long-term client. Jacob exited the airport with only a hand luggage so there was no need for me to alight from the car. As he got in the car, I looked back from the driver’s seat to greet him but he was distracted on the phone and never looked up to notice me. He only answered my greeting and asked me to get going

As I drove him all the way to a hotel on the Island, I had tears in my eyes. He looked like he was doing well, his conversations on the phone also showed that he was in control. Jacob had done well for himself and I was now driving him. Life is tricky and has a way of making you the butt of its joke. I cannot lie that I was ashamed but I would never forgive myself if I let him go without letting him know I was proud of him.

We got to the hotel and I quickly got down from the car to open his door. This was when he noticed me. He was speechless for a while then he said in Yoruba “Oga you have been the one driving me since?” He was shocked at first but then he hugged me tight. The tears finally poured, I can’t really say what I felt but I know I didn’t expect his reaction.

“I heard you were let go, I sent you a message on my other number to find out how you were but you never responded”He said while still holding on to my shoulders

I remember receiving a message from him but he was one out of many that called or texted to pity me. I didn’t want anyone’s pity so I never responded.

Jacob made me park my car and took me in to his room to talk. He immediately told me about his new gig. After he was laid off, he got a consultation deal with a multinational which opened doors for him in other multinationals. Now, he has 15 people working for him but he was in desperate need of someone who does the same as him and he didn’t have to worry about their competence. He just wanted to focus more on bringing business to the company.

My life changed that day. I resumed work with Jacob in one week and I have made sure since then to treat his company as if it were mine.

I don’t know why he treated me so nicely after what I did to him but as men, we have never talked about it. I am sure though, that he can feel my gratitude in the way I work and my zeal in doing all I can to make sure he doesn’t have to worry about the back-end.

I hope someone learns from this. lf the world turns upside down, you may end up cleaning for your cleaner. Please always remember this when you act without consideration of the other person’s future.

SELF-TALK FOR MONDAY

What you say to yourself is called self-talk. Self-talk plays a vital role in our lives. I find the one below very powerful and engaging. Please read aloud to yourself.
Happy reading.
.............
I affirm that I am reigning in life. The blessing of the Lord has made my fame to spread abroad. I am like the city that is set on the hill, I can never be hid by the economic downturn of the world.

I am mightily blessed of the Lord and out of my belly flows prosperity, joy, health, peace, and success.

No man can successfully work to my disadvantage because all things are fashioned to work together for my good.

I am so blessed and nothing is permitted to fail in my hands. Hallelujah!

My address is Christ therefore, I refuse to be perturbed about anything because in Christ, all things are mine.

I am built strong and established firmly in the faith as I walk in the light of God's blessings for my life.

I am the centre of God's operation in the earth; through me, the nations of the world are blessed.
