LATEST KIDNAPPING TACTICS

Do you a new tactics that kidnappers have deviced? Read this story and be wise.

This is a true story, pls read to the end.

My colleagues husband is in police custody as we speak.

What was his crime?

He is being accused of conniving with KIDNAPPERS or of being a KIDNAPPER.

Unfortunately he is innocent.

How then did he get involved?

My colleagues husband (Let's call him Mr. X) was in his car sales shop in Owerri over the weekend when a man walked in and claimed he was there to buy a car (Let's call him the customer).

Mr. X looked at The customer and noticed the following
1)  His pockets were bulging with cash
2) He was uneasy.

Mr X was immediately suspicious.
The man claimed he wanted 2 buy a Toyota Siena which Mr X told him cost 1.8M naira. The customer  did not argue or bargain. He simply said Ok and asked Mr. X to give him his account number so he could transfer the money to him.
Mr. X did as he asked tho he wondered how a man could purchase a car without even inspecting it or even trying to beat down the price.

The customer transferred the account number to another person by text, as he explained to Mr.X that it was that person who would do the transfer.

Few minutes after, Mr.X received an alert for 500000NGN. He asked his customer why he transferred 500k when that wasn't what they agreed on.

The customer made a call and began shouting at the person at the other end, asking him why he transferred an amount less than the agreed amount.

After he ended the call, he told Mr.X not to worry again. He wouldn't buy the car again, he said. He pleaded with Mr. X to go and use an atm, withdraw the cash and give it to him.

Mr X was uncomfortable and said no. The customer insisted and even offered that Mr. X could take 30,000 ngn from the money for his trouble and withdraw 470,000NGN for him.

Mr.X refused, insisting that he would return the money to the original sender. The customer left.
The next day Mr. X proceeded to the bank where he filled a teller over the counter and paid the money back to the account number that made the transfer. In the remarks section he wrote - suspicious transaction.

He went home.

The following day he headed for the bank again to withdraw some money and observed that he couldn't use his atm card - it had been blocked. He went to other atm machines and observed same.

So he proceeded to his own bank to make a report and he was instantly detained and subsequently taken into police custody.Apparently his account had been placed on red alert by 1st bank - his bank.

It was at the police station he was told that he was a kidnap suspect. The 500000NGN he received in his account was paid in by a member of the family of a kidnap victim.

The victim was kidnapped in Enugu. The KIDNAPPERS also raped another member of the family before making away with the victim.

Aware that they were being investigated, they deviced a means of collecting the ransom monies.  Apparently, the customer's bulging pockets were from people whom he had successfully convinced to unwittingly assist him in collecting his ransom.

He hoped Mr.X would withdraw the money and give to him so he could collect the ransom without exposing himself. So they planned to implicate innocent people by cooking up the ruse of buying something from them, then pretending that there was an issue and asking for the money to be withdrawn and given to them, cash.

Right now Mr.X husband is still in police custody. He has been transferred to Enugu where the kidnapping was carried out . His saving grace was that he transferred the money right back to the source and indicated on the teller that it was a suspicious transaction.

People, we must be vigilant.
We must be observant.
We must ask questions.

This is a true story, happening now.

Please share and you might save some one from a lot of trouble and even a possible conviction for a crime they did not commit.

WHAT EVERY MAN SHOULD LEARN ABOUT LIFE

A lot of times, people do not know the twists and turns that could turn up in life and how to handle them. A wrong response from you can put you at a long term disadvantage but handling them well can make your life flow smoothly. Please read this true life story below and learn from it.
....

In 2010 I was a senior manager in a nice firm, my future was bright in the company and I was highly recommended for head of my department. There was a rising star as well, his name is Jacob. I tutored him and tried to manage his excesses because he was exceptionally brilliant. But, he was lazy and carefree. Hardly would he take corrections and rarely would he apologise.

My other colleagues wondered what I saw in him, but they weren’t working directly with him. I knew his type: he hated structure and would never last under a corporate environment. Still, he was a brilliant strategist. I handled him well and our results together with others on my team was highly commendable.

There came a time I was having marital issues and for this reason, I had little patience with Jacob and his shenanigans. I was short-tempered with him but he had gotten used to me managing his excesses, he didn’t take my anger seriously. In two weeks, I had given him 3 queries. This meant dismissal and when I was asked by HR if I truly wanted to let him go, I could not care less. I had my own problems and was not in the mood to babysit anyone.

Three years later, I lost my job because the company was downsizing and top management was affected. I foolishly assumed I would get a job anywhere so initially, I wasn’t worried. But 12 months in, I was still searching and my savings was dwindling fast. I decided, since I wasn’t getting any job, I’d drive my SUV as a cab to those commuting from the airport. This was better than waiting around for nothing…

The cab job surprisingly was not doing badly as I was picking up and dropping off esteemed clients. It wasn’t a lot of money but it was steady.

In July 2016, an esteemed client asked me to pick up his friend from the airport because his driver had flaked on him. This person I was to pick up would turn out to be Jacob. When he called to confirm his location, I instantly recognised his voice. My heart plunged but I wasn’t going to reject the job and disappoint a long-term client. Jacob exited the airport with only a hand luggage so there was no need for me to alight from the car. As he got in the car, I looked back from the driver’s seat to greet him but he was distracted on the phone and never looked up to notice me. He only answered my greeting and asked me to get going

As I drove him all the way to a hotel on the Island, I had tears in my eyes. He looked like he was doing well, his conversations on the phone also showed that he was in control. Jacob had done well for himself and I was now driving him. Life is tricky and has a way of making you the butt of its joke. I cannot lie that I was ashamed but I would never forgive myself if I let him go without letting him know I was proud of him.

We got to the hotel and I quickly got down from the car to open his door. This was when he noticed me. He was speechless for a while then he said in Yoruba “Oga you have been the one driving me since?” He was shocked at first but then he hugged me tight. The tears finally poured, I can’t really say what I felt but I know I didn’t expect his reaction.

“I heard you were let go, I sent you a message on my other number to find out how you were but you never responded”He said while still holding on to my shoulders

I remember receiving a message from him but he was one out of many that called or texted to pity me. I didn’t want anyone’s pity so I never responded.

Jacob made me park my car and took me in to his room to talk. He immediately told me about his new gig. After he was laid off, he got a consultation deal with a multinational which opened doors for him in other multinationals. Now, he has 15 people working for him but he was in desperate need of someone who does the same as him and he didn’t have to worry about their competence. He just wanted to focus more on bringing business to the company.

My life changed that day. I resumed work with Jacob in one week and I have made sure since then to treat his company as if it were mine.

I don’t know why he treated me so nicely after what I did to him but as men, we have never talked about it. I am sure though, that he can feel my gratitude in the way I work and my zeal in doing all I can to make sure he doesn’t have to worry about the back-end.

I hope someone learns from this. lf the world turns upside down, you may end up cleaning for your cleaner. Please always remember this when you act without consideration of the other person’s future.

SELF-TALK FOR MONDAY

What you say to yourself is called self-talk. Self-talk plays a vital role in our lives. I find the one below very powerful and engaging. Please read aloud to yourself.
Happy reading.
.............
I affirm that I am reigning in life. The blessing of the Lord has made my fame to spread abroad. I am like the city that is set on the hill, I can never be hid by the economic downturn of the world.

I am mightily blessed of the Lord and out of my belly flows prosperity, joy, health, peace, and success.

No man can successfully work to my disadvantage because all things are fashioned to work together for my good.

I am so blessed and nothing is permitted to fail in my hands. Hallelujah!

My address is Christ therefore, I refuse to be perturbed about anything because in Christ, all things are mine.

I am built strong and established firmly in the faith as I walk in the light of God's blessings for my life.

I am the centre of God's operation in the earth; through me, the nations of the world are blessed.

AMAZING THINGS YOUR PHONE CAN DO - And You Probably Didn't Know!

AMAZING THINGS YOU PROBABLY NEVER KNEW YOUR MOBILE PHONE COULD DO !!!

In grave emergencies, your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival.

1. Emergency Services
The Emergency No. worldwide for all Mobile Phones is 112.
If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and your mobile will search any existing network in your area to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. This works on all phones worldwide and is free.

2. Locked your keys in the car?
If you lock your remote keyless car keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their mobile phone from your cell phone.
Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button on the spare key, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you.
Distance is no object. You could be thousands of miles away.
Editor's Note: I didn’t believe this when I heard about it! I rang my daughter in Sydney from Perth when we went on holiday. She had the spare car key. We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a mobile phone!

3. Is your mobile phone battery flat ? All handphone have Hidden Battery Power.

To activate, press the keys *3370# (remember the asterisk). Do this when the phone is almost dead. Your mobile will restart in a special way with this new reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery life. This reserve will be recharged when you charge your handphone next time.
This secret is in the fine print in most phone manuals which we skip without realizing.

4. Disabling a STOLEN mobile.
To check your handphone's serial number, key in following digits on your phone:
* # 0 6 #
Ensure you put an asterisk BEFORE the #06# sequence.

A 15 digits code will appear on the screen that is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. If your handphone is ever stolen, phone your service provider and give them this code.
They will then be able to block your handset so even if the SIM is changed, your handphone will be totally useless. And even if you don't get your phone back, at least it can't use/resold either. If everybody did this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.
This secret is also in the fine print of most mobile phone manuals. It was created for the very purpose of trying to prevent phones from being stolen.

5. ATM PIN Number Reversal - Good to Know !!!
If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your PIN # in reverse. For example, if your pin number is 1234, then you would put in 4321. The ATM system recognizes that your PIN number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine. The machine will still give you the money you requested but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to the location. All ATM’s carry this emergency sequencer by law.

This information was recently broadcast by Crime Stoppers. It is, however, seldom used as people just don't know about it.

This is the kind of information people don't mind receiving, so pass it on to your family and friends.

THE PRICE OF POLITICAL POWER IN NIGERIA

Unbelievable yet true but this is a powerful piece by a former insider in Aso Villa. He called it "Rituals, blood and death: The spiritual side of Aso Villa"

People tend to be alarmed when the Nigerian Presidency takes certain decisions. They don’t think the decision makes sense. Sometimes, they wonder if something has not gone wrong with the thinking process at that highest level of the country. I have heard people insist that there is some form of witchcraft at work in the country’s seat of government. I am ordinarily not a superstitious person, but working in the Villa, I eventually became convinced that there must be something supernatural about power and closeness to it. I’ll start with a personal testimony. I was given an apartment to live in inside the Villa. It was furnished and equipped. But when my son, Michael arrived, one of my brothers came with a pastor who was supposed to stay in the apartment. But the man refused claiming that the Villa was full of evil spirits and that there would soon be a fire accident in the apartment. He complained about too much human sacrifice around the Villa and advised that my family must never sleep overnight inside the Villa.
I thought the man was talking nonsense and he wanted the luxury of a hotel accommodation. But he turned out to be right. The day I hosted family friends in that apartment and they slept overnight, there was indeed a fire accident. The guests escaped and they were so thankful. Not long after, the President’s physician living two compounds away had a fire accident in his home. He and his children could have died. He escaped with bruises. Around the Villa while I was there, someone always died or their relations died. I can confirm that every principal officer suffered one tragedy or the other; it was as if you needed to sacrifice something to remain on duty inside that environment. Even some of the women became merchants of dildo because they had suffered a special kind of death in their homes (I am sorry to reveal this) and many of the men complained about something that had died below their waists too. The ones who did not have such misfortune had one ailment or the other that they had to nurse. From cancer to brain and prostate surgery and whatever, the Villa was a hospital full of agonizing patients.

I recall the example of one particular man, an asset to the Jonathan Presidency who practically ran away from the Villa. He said he needed to save his life. He was quite certain that if he continued to hang around, he would die. I can’t talk about colleagues who lost daughters and sons, brothers and uncles, mothers and fathers, and the many obituaries that we issued. Even the President was multiply bereaved. His wife, Mama Peace was in and out of hospital at a point, undergoing many surgeries. You may have forgotten but after her husband lost the election and he conceded victory, all her ailments vanished, all scheduled surgeries were found to be no longer necessary and since then she has been hale and hearty. By the same token, all those our colleagues who used to come to work to complain about a certain death beneath their waists and who relied on videos and other instruments to entertain wives (take it easy boys, I don’t mean nay harm, I am writing!), have all experienced a re-awakening.
Everyone who went under the blade has received miraculous healing, and we are happy to be out of that place. But others were not so lucky. They died. There were days when convoys ran into ditches and lives were lost. In Norway, our helicopter almost crashed into a mountain. That was the first time I saw the President panicking. The weather was all so hazy and he just kept saying it would not be nice for the President of a country to die in a helicopter crash due to pilot miscalculations. The President went into a prayer mode. We survived. In Kenya once, we had a bird strike. The plane had to be recalled and we were already airborne with the plane acting like it would crash. During the 2015 election campaigns, our aircraft refused to start on more than one occasion. The aircraft just went dead. On some other occasions, we were stoned and directly targeted for evil. I really don’t envy the people who work in Aso Villa, the seat of Nigeria’s Presidency. For about six months, I couldn’t even breathe properly. For another two months, I was on crutches. But I considered myself far luckier than the others who were either nursing a terminal disease or who could not get it up.
When Presidents make mistakes, they are probably victims of a force higher than what we can imagine. Every student of Aso Villa politics would readily admit that when people get in there, they actually become something else. They act like they are under a spell. When you issue a well- crafted statement, the public accepts it wrongly. When the President makes a speech and he truly means well, the speech is interpreted wrongly by the public. When a policy is introduced, somehow, something just goes wrong. In our days, a lot of people used to complain that the APC people were fighting us spiritually and that there was a witchcraft dimension to the governance process in Nigeria. But the APC folks now in power are dealing with the same demons. Since Buhari government assumed office, it has been one mistake after another. Those mistakes don’t look normal, the same way they didn’t look normal under President Jonathan. I am therefore convinced that there is an evil spell enveloping this country. We need to rescue Nigeria from the forces of darkness. Aso Villa should be converted into a spiritual museum, and abandoned.

Should I become President of Nigeria tomorrow, I will build a new Presidential Villa: a Villa that will be dedicated to the all-conquering Almighty, and where powers and principalities cannot hold sway. But it is not about buildings and space, not so? It is about the people who go to the highest levels in Nigeria. I really don’t quite believe in superstitions, but I am tempted to suggest that this is indeed a country in need of prayers. We should pray before people pack their things into Aso Villa. We should ask God to guide us before we appoint ministers. We should, to put it in technocratic language, advise that the people should be very vigilant. We have all failed so far, that crucial test of vigilance. We should have a Presidential Villa where a President can afford to be human and free. In the White House, in the United States, Presidents live like normal human beings. In Aso Villa, that is impossible. They’d have to surround themselves with cooks from their villages, bodyguards from their mother’s clans and friends they can trust. It should be possible to be President of Nigeria without having to look behind one’s shoulders. But we are not yet there. So, how do we run a Presidency where the man in the saddle can only drink water served by his kinsman? No. How can we possibly run a Presidency where every President proclaims faith in Nigeria but they are better off in the company of relatives and kinsmen. No. We need as Presidents men and women who are willing to be Nigerians. No Nigerian President should be in spiritual bondage because he belongs to all of us and to nobody.

Now let me go back to the spiritual dimension. A colleague once told me that I was the most naïve person around the place. I thought I was a bright, smart, professional doing my bit and enjoying the President’s confidence. I spelled it out. But what I got in response was that I was coming to the villa using Lux soap, but that most people around the place always bathed in the morning with blood. Goat blood. Ram blood. Whatever animal blood. I argued. He said there were persons in the Villa walking upside down, head to the ground. I screamed. Everybody looked normal to me. But I soon began to suspect that I was in a strange environment indeed. Every position change was an opportunity for warfare. Civil servants are very nice people; they obey orders, but they are not very nice when they fight over personal interests.
The President is most affected by the atmosphere around him. He can make wrong decisions based on the cloud of evil around him. Even when he means well and he has taken time to address all possible outcomes, he could get on the wrong side of the public. A colleague called me one day and told me a story about how a decision had been taken in the spiritual realm about the Nigerian government. He talked about the spirit of error, and how every step taken by the administration would appear to the public like an error. He didn’t resign on that basis but his words proved prophetic. I see the same story being re-enacted. Aso Villa is in urgent need of redemption. I never slept in the apartment they gave me in that Villa for an hour.

WISDOM FOR THE TOP

The moment of victory is often the moment of greatest peril. In the heat of victory, arrogance and overconfidence can push you past the goal you had aimed for, and by going too far, you make more enemies than you defeat.

Do not allow success to go to your head. There is no substitute for strategy and careful planning.  Set a goal, and when you reach it, stop.
Have an Uncommon day Ahead.....

ON OPEN LETTER TO PARENTS

Dear Parents,

There are things that parents do that makes me wonder if they know the implications. In my teaching career, I've come to realize that children who are well brought up produce better results.

What I see these days is training the "butty"(aje butter) way which gets me scared of what will happen in the next 10-15years.

I see eight year olds who don't bother to lay their beds.
I see 10year olds served by the maid or "caring mum"  on the table and they either don't pack the table or they just dump the plates in the kitchen for the maid or "caring mum".
Drivers carry the bags of children above 5years and the children call them "my driver".
Manual cloth washing is gradually been replaced by washing machines yet the maid or "caring mum" will be the one to do the laundry.
Children wake up and go straight to the TV and sleep late watching TV with mum & dad but mum & dad don't allow them read late. They'll say "go and sleep".

I see parents play game for hours on their phones yet wonder why their children don't read and why their results are poor despite investment in expensive schools.

I see tweenagers and teenagers who can't cook common white rice because there's maid, nanny, cook, "caring mum" etc.

I see  children who are addicted to cheating in exams, assignments, class work and the parents aren't taking conscious steps to correct it instead some will bribe teachers to make their children first or teach them during external exams.

I see children who talk to their parents and other adults disrespectfully and all parents say is "children of now a days are outspoken".

Your children's wardrobe is full but they don't have a bible.

You buy them lots of toys but you buy them books.
They go to Church yet they don't know about tithe, rapture etc.

I can go on and on.

See, when next you tell your child not to do house chores, study hard etc have it at the back of your mind that what you're saying is "don't take responsibility for your life".

FINDING TRUE PEACE AS A MAN

God chose us before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blame before Him in love, and predestined us to be accepted in His presence. It’s part of what His righteousness in our spirits has produced for us; we can boldly stand in the presence of God without guilt, inferiority or condemnation.

No matter where you’ve been, what you’ve done, how deep in the thraldom or valley of sin you’ve been, you’re accepted in Christ Jesus. You don’t have to run from God, because of your sins. Imagine His gracious invitation in Isaiah 1:18; He said, "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." He’s not mad at you. Submit to His righteousness. Embrace His love. Trust Him with your life, and He’ll make your life glorious.

Now that you’re born again, you’re in Christ; He’s already accepted you; you’re in Him. You dwell in His presence. In His presence, you’re at liberty; you don’t have to be afraid; you’re free to express yourself and be yourself. You’re at liberty to function for Him and live for Him.

Some people are still living their lives in hope that God will accept them based on their good works. But that’s not going to work! The Bible says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). Furthermore, Galatians 2:16 says, "...by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified"; that means accepted and declared righteous before God!
You don’t have to feel insecure or uncertain about your standing with God. Be bold, confident, assured and glad that you belong to Him; that He brought you into oneness with Himself.

CAN YOU BEAT THIS? - The Origin of the Song

The song "It Is Well With My Soul" was written by a successful Christian lawyer Heratio Spafford. His only son died at age 4 in 1871. In 1872, the great Chicago fire wiped out his vast estate, made from a successful legal career. In 1873 he sent his wife & 4 daughters over to Europe on a summer trip on the ill fated SS Ville du Havre. Since he had a lot of work to do, he planned to follow them later. The Ship sank and he lost his 4 daughters with the wife being the only survivor. She sent him a famous telegram which simply read, "SAVED ALONE...."  On his return home, his Law firm was burned down and the insurance company refused to pay him. They said "It's an Act of God".  He had no money to pay for his house and no work, he also lost his house.  Then while sitting and thinking what's happening to him, being a spiritual person, he wrote a song - "Whatever, my Lord, You have taught me to say - It is well, it is well with my soul".  My dear friend, a good attitude will determine your altitude.  When you look at your life, career, job or family life, what do you say?  Do you praise God? Do you blame the devil?  A good attitude towards God makes Him move on your behalf.  Just sit down and say, "Today, God, it is well with my soul, I am thankful I had a peaceful sleep, I am thankful I am alive with possibilities, I am thankful I have a roof over me, I am thankful I have a job, I am thankful that I have Family and Friends.  Above all, I am thankful that I have God on my side."  Be blessed and don't be envious or shocked when others are prospering because you don't know what they have been through to get there (test, trials and tribulation) so thank God for what you have.  "Little is much when God is in it. It Is Well With My Soul!". If God is for us, who can be against us?

WHY YOU SHOULD KEY IN INTO CRYPTOCURRENCY NOW FAST

OK. Basically you need to see onecoin from the perspective of buying shares or forex which has a huge  potential for appreciation. But in this case you are not buying any companies share or any country's currency.  Rather you are buying a Cryptocurrency.  A Cryptocurrency is digital money. Money generated from the computer. As strange as it sounds, it is real.

Come to think of it, What makes money  'money'   is the security. The reason why you cannot make a color photocopy of your 1000 note and use it to buy something is because it does not have the required security features that the money authority has embedded in the real money though they are both papers.  Now a technology called blockchain has perfected the requisite security required to generate money from the computer. This technology was first used by Bitcoin.

The world is beginning to realize that this technology and more reliable not only for Cryptocurrency generation but for so many other things and is embracing the technology fast. So investors in Cryptocurrency will reap big when coin generation(mining) stops and businesses start to demand for it. Then price will sky rocket.

ENGAGE THE POWER OF ORDER

Order Is Simply The Accurate Arrangement of Things. Your car is parked in your garage. Your clothes hang orderly in your closet. When you increase Order, (the accurate arrangement of people and events) you increase your productivity. Plan your day carefully. Unplanned hours will always gravitate toward your weakness. Unplanned days are unproductive days. Unplanned days are incubators for your greatest mistakes.

WHY YOU ARE NOT YET A MILLIONAIRE - 3 Mistakes

Mistake #1 Seeking comfort, not freedom
Comfort is the enemy of abundance. The most dangerous element of finances is settling. It’s the middle-class mentality. The entire middle class is built upon settling on comfort, on just enough. More is the mantra to wealth. Comfort isn’t even on the menu. Make freedom your focus.

Mistake #2 Diversification
I know you have been sold this idea of diversifying your investments. It’s a lie put on you from Wall Street because Wall Street benefits when you diversify. The truth is if you have 100 different investments you need someone else to manage them. That’s why Wall Street has sold you on diversification. Andrew Carnegie said, “Take all your eggs and put them in one basket, and watch that basket! The super rich go all-in on one or two bets. They don’t have a thousand investments — not in the beginning.

Mistake #3 Depending on One Income Flow
Don’t diversify your investments, but make sure you get multiple flows of income when you are building wealth. Investments are not income. Income is what you are living on. When I say income I’m not just talking about money coming in — I’m talking about opportunities as well. Never depend on one flow of traffic no matter how big it is. I know people who make $300K or $400K but it is all income — they don’t have investments and they are not wealthy. When that income stops, they are going to be in trouble. It’s rich for a moment, but to create real wealth you must make investments that will create dependable income streams or flows over long periods of time.

HOW TO BE A GREAT LEADER

It can be difficult for leaders (especially senior ones new to their roles) to pause before acting. But when was the last time you stopped to ask, “Why are we doing it that way?” Leaders must constantly explore new ideas and seek out new thinking from those around them. You need to regularly ask uncomfortable questions and think about whether to change or abandon an existing strategy.
