HOW TO BE A GREAT LEADER

It can be difficult for leaders (especially senior ones new to their roles) to pause before acting. But when was the last time you stopped to ask, “Why are we doing it that way?” Leaders must constantly explore new ideas and seek out new thinking from those around them. You need to regularly ask uncomfortable questions and think about whether to change or abandon an existing strategy.

The best leaders step back and look at the big picture every so often. They surround themselves with diverse teams and capitalize on opportunities to hear and experiment with new ideas. They give themselves time to surface divergent opinions that ultimately lead to smarter business decisions.

STAND OUT, NOT GIVING IN

Do you realize you were born to be an example of goodness? A lot of people are caught up with the activities of daily living that they are so unconscious of this fact. This is why it is so vital to spend some minutes everyday to meditate, which helps to build the right consciousness into your being. This is because, what you are not conscious of, you are unlikely to take action on. In this piece below, you will find out why you should strive to be an example of good things.

The most important thing in your life as a Christian is your salvation. There’s no worldly accomplishment that can compare to it. Everything else you do; all the glory in this world without your salvation is nothing. Therefore, prize it above everything else.

Our primary reason for preaching the Gospel— doing all we do to help others find their salvation—is our salvation. Sadly, there’re people who, after labouring and doing so much for the Gospel, lost their salvation because they went out of the way. They allowed some misguided people lure them away from the Word, and soon, they began to fight for things of this world and of the flesh. Your salvation is the most important thing; don’t trade it for anything.

If a man loses his salvation, he loses everything, regardless of how many conferences he may have attended or how many people he may have led to Christ. Protect your salvation. Keep it, and don’t allow anyone or anything destroy it. Don’t lead yourself astray, and don’t give anyone that opportunity. There’re hawks, wolves in the church who won’t spare the flock, and will for personal gain, do just anything to lead you in their pernicious ways.

Never forget that when you came to Christ, you came alone. God called you alone; just the same way the Bible tells us He called Abraham alone (Isaiah 51:2). That you have received Christ isn’t enough; that’s only the beginning. You must keep building yourself in Him, and growing in, and by His Word.

Now if you haven't given your life to Jesus Christ, it's time you do so. God is near you, waiting for you to accept His offer of salvation. Maybe you were a good Christian but somewhere along the line, you got derailed, well there is still hope for you. There is always hope for you as long as you have the breath of life. Give God your life. Accept the sacrifice if His Son, Jesus Christ today.

POWER LIVING - YOUR ROLE

Power Living is key to maximizing your life. You have a role to play in the way people see you. Don't leave your life to chance, become proactive. Stop being a conformist.  Wake up to life.

Pastor Chris puts it in his words he titled "The Purity of a Christian", in it he says: As a child of God, it’s important that you always exude the excellence and righteousness of God that’s in your spirit. It should be easy for anyone to look at your life and tell that you’re a Christian. In the context of our opening scripture, "godliness" doesn’t refer to the righteousness which is in your heart, but to what you do that can be seen outwardly; it means piety.

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness (2 Peter 1:5-6).

There must be some piousness expressed in your behaviour, attitude, language, way of thinking, and way of doing things. There must be some discipline in your life, and in your communication. Never use vulgar or unwholesome words; have a clean language. The Christian has what is called "purity"; there’s the purity of a Christian, which should radiate through you. There’s some spirituality about a real Christian. It’s something that distinguishes you, because you’re not of this world.

You’re separated unto God, unto the life of righteousness. There should be some "calmness" in your life; there should be a way you carry yourself. There should be no roughness about you. There’re places you shouldn’t be found in, and things you shouldn’t do or say.

Use the Word to check yourself always, to get rid of any wrong stuff in your life. Keep bringing forth fruits that are consistent with your life and nature of righteousness: "Bring forth fruit that is consistent with repentance [let your lives prove your change of heart]" (Matthew 3:8 AMP).

Romans 6:1-4 KJV "[1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [2] God forbid..."
