It is a staggering fact that for the past few years people have spent ten times as much for luxuries and non-essentials as they have for all charitable and religious purposes. This is a commentary on our shallow and superficial religious faith.

While the Bible warns us against greed and selfishness, it does encourage frugality and thrift. Even Jesus said to His disciples after He fed the multitude, “Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.” Although our Lord had the power to create, He Himself lived frugally and without luxury. John Wesley had a threefold philosophy about money. He said, “Make all you can; keep all you can; and give all you can.” Most of us get all we can, spend all we can; borrow all we can; and give meagerly to God.

3 REASONS WHY YOU ARE NOT YET A MILLIONAIRE

Today, I want to give you some short tips on the reasons why many people are still struggling and not yet millionaires.
Here are the reasons I came up with.

1. Too Afraid To Take Calculated Risks
Not giving opportunity a chance. Many people are risk averse, and not willing to take up opportunities because of fear of losing money. It's always a better choice to seek out opportunities in whatever form and take it up. Instead of allowing the fear of losing money hold you down from moving ahead financially, I would advise you to have this mentality...

"Take Risks, if you win and become successful in the
process, you will be happy; if you lose, you will have
learnt one way not to lose again"

Learn from your mistakes in opportunities, and you will win the next time. If you don't take risks, you won't be able to learn these success secrets hidden in failure.

2. Not Knowing How To Sell Anything

You see making money is very easy if you know how to sell. If you want to become a millionaire in the nearest
future, master the art of selling. And when it comes to the internet, selling becomes easier. Even a shy person who fears selling can do so seamlessly online. What does it take to become a millionaire selling products? If you can sell a product and make a profit of N10,000 per unit sold, all you need to make a million Naira per month is selling 100 units.

If you can sell 50 units per month, that is N500,000 per month.

If you continue at this pace and do it successfully for 6 - 12 months, you're already a millionaire as you would have netted a total profit of 3 - 6 million
in that period of time. And to sell 50 units of a product per month requires that you build an email list of just 2,000 people and convert only 2.5% of it to buyers. This is very easy to do, if you know what you're doing. Many people can convert up to 7% from the same list in a 3 - 4 month period.

3. Depending On One Source of Income

If you have a salary job, and that is the only source of income for you, you're sitting on a ticking time bomb. If your boss offers you a sack letter, you're income stops immediately. As a wise person, it's always good to have a plan B, and Plan C, if any of your income sources dries up. If you rely on only one income source, your chances of becoming a millionaire is slim to none. It's time to wisen up, and create a secondary revenue channel. Brainstorm on ideas for extra revenue stream.

Here are few options you can consider...

* Write a book and sell

* Try consulting services for what you know how to do

* Learn extra skills while you're still working full time.

* Open a side business, online or offline

* Create services you can offer to people. 

You see, as long as you're guilty of any/all of these 3 reasons, becoming a millionaire will be a problem for you. In our current economy, more than ever before, it's now an absolute necessity to have a secondary income stream.

ACCESSING PLENTY IN TIMES OF DROUGHT

You can't access it, if you are not expecting it. Yes, it was an intense time of intercession with groanings that cannot be uttered. Deep prayers will always provoke deep insight and results. 
A word lighted this morning as the focus on prayer was on the biting economy being experienced by many. Lots of homes are going through tough times at the moment. Cash flow for some hasn't been flowing at all. However, God spoke this morning as per the Nigerian situation. What He revealed was that the governmental structures only provide prosperity at a superficial level. Now many people build their trust on that level. To make matters worse is when a government doesn't even develop that level of prosperity. That is even superficial prosperity. So what happens to the people?

There is a deeper level of prosperity that is not dependent on what the government is doing or not doing. It is based on revelation knowledge. It is based on divine insight. Many people don't build this aspect of their spiritual understanding into their lives. They remain at the governmental level. That is wrong. You need to see beyond the government. Now because many people dont look deep enough,  when they say there is a casting down, you say there is a casting down. That is not supposed to be! When they say there is a casting down, you ought to say there is a lifting up. Why? Its not because you want to say something different from what they are saying. No. Its because you are seeing things from a different level, from a divine perspective. From a deeper insight.

This morning, the Lord spoke and said: 
"Beyond the superficial layer of a biting economy that Nigeria is facing lies a deep layer of prosperity and abundance. Only those who get deep in the spirit will access it. For the earth is the Lord's and the FULLNESS thereof."

Thank God there is fullness in the earth. If Nigeria is still a part of planet earth, then there is fullness in Nigeria! Glory! We need to believe it, then we will see it. If you shift your focus from the lack and see fullness, God will show you where the fullness is! Get God's view point. He wants your attention. Can't you see what He is saying? 
Don't you quit, get into the deep waters. There is prosperity there. Halleluyah!

DEVELOPING WEALTH CONSCIOUSNESS

For some time to come we will be looking at core concepts and ideas that can help us make a mind-shift from lack and want thinking to wealthy thinking.
Everything starts in our thoughts. If you look at creation, before God said "let us make man", man existed in His thoughts, so to speak. God had a clear picture of what He wanted to create before He created it. Yes, thoughts. Wealth is thoughts. Before you see the physical signs of wealth, wealth is first a perpetual thinking. It's a mindset. It's a consciousness. You cannot think lack and insufficiency and have ideas that can launch you into physical substance. You must "see" wealth, consistently before it "becomes" physical reality.

#3. Being Broke Does Not Mean Being Poor.
Yes, being Broke is a state of your pocket. Being Poor is a state of your mind. Being broke is temporary, but Being poor is permanent! There is nothing wrong to be Broke, but it should be temporary, for awhile. However, Staying broke means that person is poor and poverty is a state of mind. A Broke man only needs to take certain steps and actions and after awhile, you won't see him in that state!
